Our hoop pine (Araucaria) is a native Australian timber forested in biodiverse plantations in Southern Queensland. The timber is kiln dried, finger joined and length laminated to ensure straight and stable stretcher arms. The laminating process increases stability while substantially reducing waste, therefore making our stretchers the most sustainable on the Australian market. Our stretcher bars use the traditional mitre joint which, in combination with our timber wedges, allows the stretcher to expand while maintaining strength and stability.
